Elixir Energy (ASX:EXR) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with AGI Development Group, part of the Australian Gas Infrastructure Group, to explore the potential of gas infrastructure assets to support future gas production from its Grandis project in Queensland's Taroom Trough, according to a Monday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.

The parties will initially consider a new gas transmission pipeline to the Wallumbilla Hub, processing and compression facilities, and gas storage facilities, the filing said.
