Yinson Holdings (KLSE:YINSON) unit Yinson Production's floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) Maria Quitéria achieved its first oil on Oct. 15, 2024, after a successful 72-hour test.

This marks the start of the project's firm charter, with Yinson Production receiving contracted day rates for 22.5 years, until 2047, according to a Monday Malaysian bourse filing.

The project also reached a safety milestone of 21.6 million man-hours worked without a lost-time incident by the end of August 2024, the energy infrastructure and technology company said.

Shares of Yinsond slid about 3% recently.
