Allison Transmission Holdings (ALSN) said Thursday it is expanding its manufacturing facility in Chennai, India, with an investment of more than $100 million.

The expansion is expected to be completed by 2025, with operations commencing in 2026, according to the company.

The multiyear investment is expected to double the facility's current manufacturing footprint and expand the production capacity for the company's on-highway fully automatic transmission portfolio, Allison Transmission said.
