Transurban Group (ASX:TCL) reported a 1.1% increase in average daily traffic, at an average of 2.5 million trips per day, in the September quarter.
The toll road operator attributed the increase to growth across all markets except Melbourne, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
During the quarter, average daily traffic saw rises of 1.9% in Sydney, 1.3% in Brisbane, and 6.5% in North America but slumped 1% in Melbourne, the filing said. Most of the decline was experienced by the Western Link due to continued construction works.
The company's shares were down almost 2% in recent Tuesday trade.
