United Overseas Bank (SGX:U11) repurchased 28,000 shares on the market for SG$911,151.21 on Monday, with SG$32.63 as the highest price paid per share and SG$32.39 as the lowest per share price, a same-day filing with the Singapore Exchange said.

The bank has so far repurchased 2,828,000 shares out of the 83,734,798 shares it is authorized to repurchase.

The company's shares closed over 1% lower on Tuesday's close.
