DBS Group (SGX:D05) acquired 900,000 units in CapitaLand Ascendas REIT (SGX:A17U) for SG$2.5 million, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Tuesday.
The acquisition brings the bank's stake in the REIT to 0.984%.
DBS is an independent portfolio manager of Temasek and grants the US-listed company a deemed interest in the REIT.
Following the purchase of the new units, Temasek's deemed interest in the REIT is now 19.01%.
