Paramount (KLSE:PARAMON) issued 50 million in nominal value of unrated Islamic medium-term bonds, dubbed Sukuk Wakalah.

This issuance forms part of the company's Sukuk Wakalah Program with a total capacity of up to 1 billion ringgit, according to a Wednesday Malaysian bourse filing.

Following the issue, the total Sukuk Wakalah currently in circulation has reached 150 million ringgit, the engineering services company noted.
