The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $3.15 per share.
The distributor of supplies for swimming pools posted revenue of $1.43 billion in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.4 billion.
Pool Corp. expects full-year earnings to be $11.06 to $11.46 per share.
