China Gas (HKG:0384) signed a long-term liquefied natural gas swap arrangement with energy trader Vitol beginning in 2029, according to a Friday press release by the energy trader.

Under the arrangement, Vitol will buy 500,000 metric tons of liquefied natural gas from China Gas' contracted US volume on a free-on-board basis.

China Gas will also purchase 500,000 metric tons of LNG from Vitol on a delivered ex-ship basis starting in 2029, the release said.
