Rollins named John Wilson executive chairman succeeding Gary Rollins, who will become executive chairman emeritus.

The pest control company on Wednesday said the promotion of Wilson, who currently serves as vice chairman, will be effective Jan. 1.

Rollins has acted as a director of the namesake company since 1981, and as chairman of the board since 2020. From 2001 to 2022, was the company's chief executive.
