Ameresco (AMRC) said Friday it has secured a deal to collaborate on an upgrade of the main office, wastewater treatment plant, and natural treatment system facility of the Roseburg Urban Sanitary Authority in Oregon.
The company said it will collaborate with the Roseburg Urban Sanitary Authority to install 800 kilowatt, 50 kilowatt and 400 kilowatt solar photovoltaic projects to offset wastewater treatment and administration energy usage. The authority was awarded nearly $2.9 million in grants for the three projects from Oregon's Department of Energy.
Shares of the company were up more than 2% in recent Friday premarket activity.
