CapitaLand Ascendas REIT's (SGX:A17U) total portfolio occupancy for the third quarter of the year was down 1% year over year to 92.1% from 94.5%, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Friday.

Occupancy from the Singapore Portfolio stood at 92.0% compared to 92.7% in the year-ago period.

Meanwhile, occupancy of portfolios based in the US was down to 87.1% from 92.1% in the comparable period, mainly due to lower occupancy in Raleigh.

Occupancy in Australia declined to 91.7% due to a lease expiry in Sydney.
