Television Broadcasts (HKG:0511) saw its market share of viewership for all TV channels in Hong Kong drop to 77% in the third quarter of 2024 from 79% in the year-ago period, a Monday filing said.
TVB's OTT streaming subscribers decreased to 186,841 during the quarter from 190,945 a year earlier, while average monthly active users grew to 2.1 million from 2.0 million in the prior-year period.
The number of livestream commerce sessions increased to 375 from 279 a year ago, while the livestream audiences dropped to 52 million from 67 million.
The television broadcasting company's shares were up nearly 5% in recent trade.
