CAR Group's (ASX:CAR) Chair Pat O'Sullivan said in the annual general meeting that the online advertising firm supports Chief Executive Cameron McIntyre's recent appointment as a non-executive director at the logistics firm Brambles (ASX:BXB), according to Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
"This is an excellent opportunity for Cameron to be exposed to another successful, multi-national company and bring insights back into his role as CEO & [Managing Director] of CAR Group," O'Sullivan said.
CAR Group's shares rose past 2% in recent Friday trade, while Brambles' shares slipped almost 1%.
