Financial stocks rose in Friday's premarket activity as the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) advanced by 0.4% recently.
The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was up 1.1% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 1% lower.
Aon (AON) shares were up over 4% after the company reported higher Q3 adjusted earnings and revenue that also beat estimates.
Virtus Investment Partners (VRTS) shares advanced by over 5% after the company reported higher Q3 and better-than-expected adjusted earnings and revenue.
New York Community Bank (NYCB) shares declined by over 9% after the company reported that it swung to a Q3 adjusted loss as revenue fell during the period.
