Baker Hughes (NASDAQ:BKR) announced Monday an agreement to supply Petrobras (PBR) with 77 km of flexible pipe systems to be deployed in Brazil's pre-salt fields in the offshore Santos Basin; financial terms were not disclosed.
Under the multi-year agreement, Baker Hughes (BKR) will provide rises and flowlines for hydrocarbon production, associated gas and water injection, as well as storage, maintenance and installation support; delivery is scheduled to begin in mid-2026.
The equipment will be utilized across the Buzios, Libra, Berbigao, Sururu and Sepia pre-salt fields in the Santos Basin, which Petrobras (PBR) operates.
The agreement is the latest of several reached with Petrobras (PBR) this year, including additional contracts for 69.1 km of flexible pipe systems and associated services in Q3, well construction services in the Buzios field, and integrated solutions for workover and plug and abandonment services in Brazil's pre-salt and post-salt fields.
