Aster DM Healthcare (NSE:ASTERDM, BOM:540975) reported that it has swung to a profit in fiscal Q2 with an attributable consolidated net profit to 968.4 million Indian rupees against a consolidated net loss of 308.0 million rupees a year ago.

Earnings per share came in at 1.94 rupees compared with a loss per share of 0.62 rupees, according to a Thursday filing to the stock exchanges by the healthcare services provider.

Revenue from operations in fiscal Q2 also increased to 10.86 billion rupees from 9.29 billion rupees a year ago.
