China National Building Material's (HKG:3323) attributable profit rose 8.2% year over year to 931.2 million yuan in the third quarter, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.

Earnings per share at the construction materials company increased 8.3% year over year to 0.551 yuan.

Operating income grew 20% year over year to 6.77 billion yuan.

Shares closed 4% higher during Friday's trading.
