Territorial Bancorp (TBNK) said Friday that proxy advisory firm Glass Lewis has joined Institutional Shareholder Services in recommending Territorial shareholders to vote in favor of the company's pending merger with Hope Bancorp (HOPE).

The company said its board of directors and management team, which collectively own 9.2% of Territorial's outstanding shares, have already voted their shares for the transaction.

The company's special meeting of stockholders to vote on the transaction is scheduled for Nov. 6.
