Brazilian Rare Earths (ASX:BRE) made significant progress at its Monte Alto project in Brazil in the September quarter, yielding the highest grades and longest mineralized intercepts since the project started, according to a Monday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.
Exploration expanded the strike, continuity, and depth of the ultra-high-grade hard rock mineralization, the filing said.
Additionally, new regional rare earth discoveries were made across district-scale magnetic anomalies at Monte Alto East, doubling the target exploration area.
Meanwhile, the company's Brazilian subsidiary, Borborema Mineração, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Bahia Government to support the development of the Rocha da Rocha rare earth province, according to the filing.
