MNRB (KLSE:MNRB) reported third-quarter net profit attributable to equity holders of the parent of 92.7 million Malaysian ringgit, up from 41.6 million ringgit a year earlier.

The reinsurance and retakaful company's basic earnings per share (subunit) was 11.84 ringgit, higher than the 5.31 ringgit reported in the year-ago period, according to a Wednesday filing with the Malaysian bourse.

Revenue totaled 974.3 million ringgit, down from 977.5 million ringgit a year ago. Insurance/takaful revenue made up 862.4 million ringgit of the total figure, down from 871.3 million ringgit a year earlier.
