Sinofert (HKG:0297) recorded a 3% year-over-year rise in net profit to nearly 1.29 billion yuan in the nine months ended Sept. 30, a Friday bourse filing said.
The Chinese fertilizer company's turnover for the three-quarter period was roughly 18.2 billion yuan.
The company attributed the rise in profit mainly to its continued "Bio+" strategic transformation leading to increased sales and a boost in efficiency.
Shares of the company closed nearly 2% higher on Friday.
