Bank of Communications (HKG:3328, SHA:601328) recorded a net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent of 23.4 billion yuan for the third quarter, up 1.2% from the same period last year, a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

Attributable earnings per share were 0.28 yuan for the three months ended Sept. 30, 3.7% lower from a year ago.

The lender's net operating income for the quarter rose 3.3% year on year to 63.9 billion yuan.
