Everus Construction Group to Replace Clearwater Paper in S&P SmallCap 600

Everus Construction Group (ECG) will be added to the S&P SmallCap 600 index prior to the opening of trading on Friday, S&P Dow Jones Indices said late Tuesday.

The company will replace Clearwater Paper (CLW), which will be removed from the index on Nov. 4.

MDU Resources Group (MDU) is spinning off Everus Construction Group in a transaction scheduled to close on Friday.

After the spin-off, the parent company MDU Resources Group will remain in the S&P SmallCap 600 but change its sector from industrials to utilities.
