IDEX (IEX) reported Q3 adjusted earnings late Tuesday of $1.90 per diluted share, down from $2.12 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.88.
Sales for the quarter ended Sept. 30 were $798.2 million, up from $793.4 million a year earlier.

The company said it expects Q4 adjusted EPS of $2.01 to $2.06. Analysts polled by Capital IQ are expecting $2.02.
IDEX said it now expects fiscal 2024 adjusted EPS of $7.85 to $7.90, up from its prior guidance of $7.80 to $7.90. Analysts are looking for $7.86.
Shares of IDEX were up about 1.8% in after-hours trading.
