Alphamab Oncology (HKG:9966) said it received a waiver from the Hong Kong stock exchange to allow Cheng Qiulan to be appointed as company secretary, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

The bourse earlier deemed Cheng is not experienced enough or qualified for the position. The three-year waiver request states that Chan Lok Yee will assist Cheng during this period.
