Datang International Power Generation (HKG:0991, SHA:601991) recorded a net profit attributable to equity holders of 1.32 billion yuan for the third quarter of the year, 0.24% higher than the corresponding period last year, a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.

Earnings per share stood at 0.0559 yuan for the three months ended Sept. 30, 16.95% higher as compared with the year-ago period.

The power producer's operating revenue for the quarter was 32.7 billion yuan, 0.80% higher than a year ago.

The company's shares were down nearly 3% in recent trade.
