AIA Group's (HKG:1299) value of new business increased 16% to a record $1.16 billion for the third quarter, with growth in 15 of its 18 markets.
The insurer's annualized new premiums rose 14% to $2.21 billion, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.
Shares of AIA closed over 2% higher on Thursday.
