China Datang Renewable Power (HKG:1798) reported a net profit attributable to the owners of 1.87 billion yuan for the nine months ended Sept. 30, compared with 2.25 billion yuan in the prior year, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Earnings per share were 0.2097, compared with 0.2409 a year ago.
Revenue for the period was 9.09 billion yuan, compared with 9.47 billion yuan in the previous year.
The energy company's stocks were up by over 1% in recent trading.
