FireFly Metals Ltd (ASX:FFM) updated the mineral resource estimate of the Green Bay copper-gold project in Canada, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Based on the results of the most recent drill campaign, the project's resource stands at 58 million tonnes of material at 2% copper equivalent, the miner said in the filing.

Shares of Firefly Metals jumped almost 9% in recent Tuesday trade and earlier hit a new 52-week high.
