Orient Securities (HKG:3958) reported a net profit attributable to the shareholders of 1.19 billion yuan in the quarter that ended Sept. 30, a 25% increase from the prior year's quarter, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Earnings per share were 0.13 yuan per share, an 18% improvement from the year-ago quarter.
Revenue for the quarter was 5.51 billion yuan, a 10% increase from the previous year.
The company will pay an interim dividend of 0.075 yuan per share.
The securities finance company's stocks were up by 2% in recent trading.
