Dongfang Electric's (HKG:1072, SHA:600875) attributable profit rose 2.6% year over year to 933.3 million yuan in the third quarter, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.
Earnings per share at the power generation components company increased 3.5% year over year to 0.30 yuan.
Operating income declined 3.3% year over year to 14.1 billion yuan.
Shares fell 2% in Shanghai during Friday's trading.
