Scientech's (TPE:3583) unit Transcend Capital sold 14.3 million shares in XTEK Semiconductor (Huangshi) for about $14.5 million, according to a Friday Taiwan Exchange filing.

The shares were sold at a price of $1.018723 apiece to the company's affiliate, Scientech Engineering, the electronics manufacturer said.

The deal is part of a group reorganization, and it generated a profit of roughly $267,147, the filing noted.
