Yum China Holdings (YUMC) reported Q3 earnings Monday of $0.77 per diluted share, up from $0.58 a year earlier.
Two analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $0.67.
Total revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $3.07 billion, up from $2.91 billion a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $3.03 billion.
For 2024, the company said it continues to expect that it will open about 1,500 to 1,700 net new stores.
Yum China also said its board maintained its cash dividend at $0.16 per share, payable Dec. 17 to shareholders of record on Nov. 26.
