Thumzup Media (TZUP) said Friday that underwriter Dawson James Securities fully exercised its overallotment option, increasing the gross proceeds from Thumzup's public offering to about $8.2 million.

The company said Dawson James Securities purchased an additional 213,750 shares at $5 each, raising the total number of shares sold to about 1.6 million shares.

The option is expected to close Friday.
