The company reported Q3 adjusted earnings of $1.16 per diluted share, up from $0.97 a year earlier.
Three analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.80.
Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $306.0 million, up from $285.9 million a year earlier.
Three analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $301.5 million.
The company maintained its quarterly dividend of $0.60 per share, payable on Dec. 9 to shareholders of record on Dec. 2.
