Semiconductor Manufacturing International (HKG:0981, SHA:688981) reported a profit attributable to the owners of $148.8 million for the quarter ended Sept. 30, a 58% increase from the $94 million in the prior year quarter, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Earnings per share were $0.02, compared with 0.01 in the year-ago quarter.
Revenue for the quarter was $2.17 billion, a 34% increase compared with $1.62 billion in the previous year.
