Molson Coors Beverage (TAP) said Thursday it has acquired a majority ownership in the ZOA energy drink brand co-founded by entertainer and former professional wrestler Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

The companies initially began their partnership when the ZOA brand launched in 2021, and Molson Coors said it previously increased its stake in the company last September in addition to gaining a presence on the ZOA board of directors.

Financial terms and other details of the expanded ownership stake were not disclosed.

Molson Coors shares recently were up almost 2% in mid-morning trade on Thursday.
