Technology stocks were flat to higher pre-bell Tuesday as the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) was inactive and the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) was up 0.2% recently.
Palantir Technologies (PLTR) shares rose past 16% after the company reported higher Q3 adjusted earnings and revenue. The company also raised its full-year revenue guidance.
Emerson Electric (EMR) said it has proposed acquiring all outstanding shares of AspenTech (AZPN) it does not already own for $240 each in cash. AspenTech shares were up more than 5% premarket.
Silicon Laboratories (SLAB) shares fell past 12% after the company reported that it swung to a fiscal Q3 loss as revenue fell during the period.
