Donald Trump won North Carolina, keeping the battleground state in the Republican's column, the Associated Press projected. The result boosted Trump's chance for winning the presidency and narrowed Kamala Harris's possible pathways to victory.
With about 90% of the vote counted, Trump had 50.8% to 48.1% for Democrat Kamala Harris.
