Yum China Holdings (HKG:9987) reported a net income of $297 million for the quarter ended Sept. 30, a 22% increase from the $244 million profit in the previous year's quarter, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Earnings per share were $0.77, compared with $0.58 a year ago.
Total revenue for the quarter was $3.07 billion, a 5% climb compared with $2.91 billion in the prior year quarter.
The company declared a $0.16 dividend per share for the quarter, which will be distributed on Dec. 17 to shareholders on record as of Nov. 26, the filing said.
