2158 GMT - The next few days are set to be volatile for AUD/USD with traders seeing opposing outcomes for the pair depending on the U.S. election result. Economist at CBA, Joe Capurso says the pair was stronger in U.S. trading, climbing to 0.6635. A Trump win would likely see AUD/USD weaken given concerns about his trade policies, while a Harris win would give the pair a lift as the outlook becomes less uncertain. Markets will respond to the exit polls followed by the vote count in the swing states, he says. "It could be a wild ride for currencies, and financial markets generally," Capurso adds.
