Core Lithium (ASX:CXO) hit mineralization from a recent drill program at the Blackbeard prospect within the Finniss lithium project in the Northern Territory, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The program yielded up to 63 meters at 1.7% lithium oxide from 166 meters, including 20 meters at 2.11% lithium oxide from 208 meters. The prospect is located within a 20-kilometer radius of the Grants processing facility, the miner said in the filing.
The company's shares were up almost 2% in recent Wednesday trade.
