Café de Coral (HKG:0341) expects a decline of up to 30% in attributable profit for the six months ended Sept. 30 from HK$200.6 million a year prior, a Thursday bourse filing said.

The restaurant operator attributed the anticipated fall in profit mainly to an unexpected downturn in the restaurant business in the first fiscal quarter, as well as a high base effect following strong sales recovery a year prior.
