On a per-share basis, the Fremont, California-based company said it had a loss of 64 cents.
The provider of contract research and genomic information posted revenue of $25.7 million in the period, surpassing Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $20.7 million.
For the current quarter ending in December, Personalis said it expects revenue in the range of $15 million to $16 million.
The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $83 million to $84 million.
