Cooper Energy (ASX:COE) changed its name to Amplitude Energy, effective Tuesday, following shareholder approval at the annual general meeting on Nov. 7, according to a same-day filing with the Australian bourse.

The energy company's shares will now trade under the symbol "AEL," the filing said.
