Strickland Metals (ASX:STK) struck new gold mineralization at its Rogozna gold and base metals project in Southern Serbia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company's drilling program yielded up to 40.3 meters at 2.6 grams per tonne (g/t Au) of gold from 558.1 meters, including 12 meters at 5.7 g/t Au from 584.4 meters, the filing said.
The discovery will be followed up with additional drilling.
Strickland Metals' shares were down more than 1% in recent Tuesday trade.
