Green Technology Metals (ASX:GT1) advanced a two-phase 14,000-meter diamond drill program at the Root lithium project in Ontario, Canada, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The first phase covering 10,000 meters completed six out of the 16 holes and intersected 17.3 meters containing 30% spodumene, the filing said.
Shares of the mining firm rose past 4% at market close Tuesday.
