China International Marine Containers (HKG:2039, SHE:000039) or CIMC further increased its shareholding in subsidiary CIMC Enric Holdings (HKG:3899), according to a Hong Kong Stock Exchange filing on Monday.
The Chinese transportation equipment manufacturer bought 21.7 million shares or around 1.1% of CIMC Enric in the open market between Oct. 8 and Nov. 7. Each share was priced HK$6.8.
After the transaction, CIMC's stake in CIMC Enric rose to 69% from 68%, the filing said.
Both CIMC's Shenzhen shares and CIMC Enric's shares rose over 1% in recent trade.
