Sun Art Retail (HKG:6808) returned to an attributable profit of 206 million yuan in the half-year ended Sept. 30 from a loss of 359 million yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.
The retail operator returned to earnings per share of 0.02 yuan from a loss per share of 0.04 yuan in the previous year.
Revenue declined 3% to 34.7 billion yuan from 35.8 billion yuan a year earlier.
Shares slid 1% during Wednesday's morning trading.
